Penguin Of The Year 2011 – Photo contest

As briefly mentioned on our Facebook page we are working on making this year’s edition of the Penguin Of The Year award ceremony one to remember.

The reason being that it will be the 10th edition of the ceremony since 2001 in Spa where the very first Penguin was crowned.

At that time, very few knew what this price was all about. Today, much to our astonishment, we can proudly see that more or less every intercrosse player knows what a Penguin Award is.

However, enough with the dwelling into history (for now).

Our first step in building up the atmosphere before the big ceremony is to honor the very symbol of our infamous awards; our mascot Leffe. Leffe is a curious little penguin who have done his fair share of traveling all around the world.

Now as you may know, or perhaps deduce on your own, penguins are not very good at handling technical stuff – like cameras. As a result we have very few pictures of Leffe from his travels.

So, in an attempt to resolve this issue we are hereby announcing a photo contest!

We want You to send in your pictures of Leffe together with a short description of where the picture was taken and what’s in the picture (apart from our favourite penguin of course).

Upload everything to our Facebook page; http://www.facebook.com/PenguinIC

Some ground rules;

  • No naughty stuff! We are civilized people.
  • Extreme and far away locations are a plus.
  • Photos capturing the essence of Leffe and his penguin life are also a plus.

Finally, needless to say, there will be a price…
