During the World Games in Malmö, Sweden in 2005 the "Penguin Of The Year" award celebrated its 5th anniversary. For the first time the grand prize was presented to a woman; Héléne Putod from France.

Given to the player attending his/her first World Games and
that best meets the "Penguin Of The Year" criteria.
