The seventh edition of the Penguin Of The Year award was presented at the closing ceremony of the World Games in Prievidza, Slovakia, on August 9, 2008.

After six years the price went back to Québec.
The second Québec player to receive this "Nobel Price of Intercrosse" was Olivier Cloutier-Charbonneau.
