A bridge connects Malmö with Denmark and Copenhagen.
The following table shows how to get to Malmö
by plane and by car.

By plane |
- Take the flight to Copenhagen Airport in Denmark.
- Take the train from Copenhagen Airport over the bridge to
Sweden and Malmö.

- Drive to Sassnitz/Rostock/Travemünde in Germany.
- Take the ferry over to Trelleborg in Sweden.
- Drive from Trelleborg in the north-west direction to Malmö
(~20km).
or....
- Drive to Flensburg in northern Germany and cross the border
to Denmark.
- Continue north on E45 for about 90 km, then east on highway
E20.
- Take the bridge over "Lille Baelt" (Little Belt)
and continue due east for about 60 km towards Nyborg.
- Take the toll-bridge over "Store Baelt" (Big Belt)
and continue driving east on E20 towards Copenhagen for about
130 km .
- Just outside Copenhagen follow the signs towards Sweden and
Malmö.
- Take the toll-bridge over Oresund to Sweden and Malmö
